VIDEO ANALYTICS SYSTEMS ATLANTA
What is Video Analytics?
When it comes to video surveillance in security, having analytics is a must. Video analytics is a software field that involves processing a video signal and running a special algorithm to perform a security related function.
There Are Three Main Types of Analytics Systems:
Fixed algorithm analytics
-
Facial recognition systems
Analytics may investigate multiple patterns, for example, crossing a line, moving in a wrong direction down a corridor, and leaving or picking up an article. Facial recognition is another aspect of analytics which cannot be overlooked. Having a feature such as facial recognition will take your systems to the next level.
Having a proper video surveillance already has a myriad of their own benefits but being supplemented with proper analytical systems makes the sky the limit. With the addition of the previously mentioned algorithms, video surveillance can help make use of the large volumes of data garnered by security ecosystems by analyzing patterns and bolstering strategies to prevent crimes across the world. With the holistic approach offered by the analytical systems, they have truly become a must have for your security requirements, whether at work or at home.
